The persephone crossbody bag features my favorite abstract petal motif stitched into ultrasuede and paired with denim - a wonderful mix of contrasting textures and bold color that you won't find on ordinary bags!

where it's made
Like all Holland Cox products, the handbags are handmade in Alexandria, Virginia, just a few miles outside of Washington DC.

how it's made
Red ultrasuede is stitched with a bold, abstract petal motif in bright blue heavy duty thread. The back of the bag is dark, indigo blue denim, with a zippered pocket. The bag is fully lined in diamond-quilted red cotton, with a second interior patch pocket.

The strap is made from the same fabric as the back, and is finished with gold tone hardware. Both heavy duty brass zipper closures are finished with an ultrasuede zip pull, with a hand painted bead on the main zipper. 

Layers of interlining and double stitching throughout make the crossbody bag sturdy enough for daily use, but not heavy or cumbersome to carry.
